Griselda Sifuentes has been an asset to the Covina Adoption Unit since May of 2012. In the 18 years she’s been with the department, she’s operated with consistently high caseloads, usually averaging between 52-55 children of diverse backgrounds.

Griselda’s works with adoptive applicants to educate them on child development and behavior, community resources and home study forms – lessons she teaches with patience and compassion.

Griselda primarily processes the most sensitive and diverse adoption plans of children from the Asian Pacific, Deaf Services, American Indian and Medical Care Management Programs thereby opening her up to populations all over LA County and beyond, spanning culture, legal statutes and language. Despite many constraints, Griselda has gone on to produce the most placements in her division, well beyond the normal annual expectations.

Griselda is an expert at finding homes, building families, and providing them the tools to succeed.
