Faith Leaders in Motion

May 20 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

You are invited to attend the Faith Leaders in Motion on Thursday, May 20, 2021, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Azusa Pacific Seminary is hosting this discussion in collaboration with The Nehemiah Project LA and DCFS Faith Collaborative. Speakers include Chief Deputy Director Ginger Pryor, Bishop Ed Smith and Pastor Albert Tate to discuss how faith communities have created programs to support children in foster care and families.

This is open to all clergy and others in local faith communities who would like to learn how to create ministries that will help improve outcomes for children in foster care and families. During the event, there will be a breakout session for faith leaders to connect with other faith partners and DCFS staff in their relevant geographic regions based on LA County Service Planning Areas (SPAs). Register by May 13th at http://bit.ly/FaithLeadersInMotion to help build communities of hope.

For any questions or additional information, you are welcome to contact Faith-Based Program Manager, Dominique Robinson at robind@dcfs.lacounty.gov.
