Seen&Heard Professional Development Program

March 5 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Event Series Event Series (See All)
Free

Seen&Heard is a performing arts program training youth in the professional skills they need to keep a job. Learn how to communicate effectively, tolerate stress, and handle your business all while having fun in a positive environment. You show up, we open doors for you, and you go out and get it. You deserve to be seen and heard.

Seen&Heard is an 18 week program. You will meet weekly with your small cohort on Zoom to work, practice and create together. Everyone is needed and everyone is valued. Two teachers guide you through concepts like mindfulness, emotional control, effective communication, and self-confidence with creativity at the center of every lesson. Students remain in the same cohort to deepen relationships and build upon concepts learned while also adding more advanced skills as the weeks continue. At the end of the 18 weeks, youth have the opportunity to participate in a graduation reception where student projects are shared and accomplishments are recognized publicly. Graduates will receive a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation from the CEO.

All Active Students Are Eligible for the Following While in Seen&Heard:
– $25.00 weekly Gift Card for students meeting attendance policy
– Grant Resources for current students & alumni (Educational expenses, work clothes, certification training, auto repairs, security deposit etc.)
