Searching For Relatives

Law requires that the child welfare agency must search for any relatives with whom the child can be placed for alternative permanence, either for foster care, or for adoption/guardianship. Resource Parents may discover information about relatives and must share that information with the agency CSW. When relatives become resources for the child and family. Resources Parents share information and help transition children to the home of the relatives.
